The aim of this Visualisation is to provide an overview of the research projects, surveyed by the MG4U project.  The tool has been divided into several “clusters”.  These clusters were formed on the basis of similarity of research area, objectives or outputs.  Information on the research area and types of projects included in a cluster is provided in the description of each cluster.

The MG4U visualisation tool can inform the user of where gaps in knowledge can be found in a particular research area and in certain cases shows where overlaps in research has occurred.

Please note:

•          Clustering was based on similarity of research area, objectives, or outputs therefore projects can be represented in multiple clusters.

•          Cluster funding figures where provided include funding received by projects which appear across multiple clusters.
